Hungarian Rhapsody Restaurant

First time trying this place after years of being curious. Food was delicious and service was amazing. Luke was a great server!! Definitely recommend the green bean soup and stuffed mushrooms!! We will be back :)

This place is great for family get-togethers. The food is always good; the service is friendly. It's the perfect balance of nice and casual.

What an amazing dining experience! The did was on point and the service was impeccable. The owner came out often to make sure we had enough to eat and that we were satisfied with our dinners. It felt like we were guests in his home, and he relished the fact that we were all very pleased with the food and experience as a whole. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant for an authentic Hungarian meal.

Excellent is all I can say! Food,atmosphere,price is all excellent. There is No way to pick our favorite as they are all delicious! Dessert is par none,the very best anywhere. Steve,Darlene and Jennifer the owners really do an outstanding job and it shows!

I ordered our Easter Dinner and they did a wonderful job. The food was great, easy to pick up from curbside, runners were polite, and there was more than ample food! 👍🏻👍🏻

This place is amazing. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, and the food is excellent. I ordered the chicken paprikash it was so good I wanted to lick the plate clean 😋. And the desert afterwards was just as delicious.... highly recommend Hungarian Rhapsody!!!

Wonderful food, great service and the staff is extremely friendly. Did I say, great food? Prices are very reasonable and you get more food on your plate then you can eat in one sitting. Being that we are Hungarian, we love the authentic food. Love this restaurant. Give it a try.

Took down payment for in laws anniversary Dinner.3 months ahead of time.Mother in law got sick2 months before party.We canceled party.She passed away.They promised to refund.Every time we go up there, we are told to come back another day.For 1 year now.Not gonna get the money back.

Best home cooked food! First time trying the veal paprikas, so much better than the chicken, and the chicken is fabulous! Try the cheese crepes, yum!!! Waitress just fast, efficient, friendly and happy! Wish I remembered her name🤔

Great authentic Hugarian/slavic food. Never had a bad meal. Sometimes the chef specialties surprise me.

Is this the real life is it just fantasy? Delicious goulash, an escape from reality. Open your eyes look up to the skies and see, I'm just a poor boy but the menu was affordable for me.

Authentic Hungarian specials served with a smile! The portions are HUGE! Flavour is delicious and the desserts(I suggest you try the Kremeš cake) was an out of body delicious experience! Jus a friendly warning tho ..... hope you LOVE carbs because most of the dishes come with either their "dumplings" potatoes or sum with a combo of both! Easily shared meals so if you go with a group everyone order something different and try a lil of it all!

I am Hungarian, this is not authentic. The old Hungarian Kitchen in Wyandotte was real Hungarian food! Guess I will make some myself from great grandma's recipe.

Pretty place. Good portion. You can tell these folks care about getting it right. Traditional food, done as one would expect. Also, we tried the crepes for dessert and were quite happy.

I've been going to the Rhapsody for over 20yrs and let me tell you that it's truly one of the best restaurants I've ever been to . The stuffed cabbage, chicken soup, dumplings, this restaurant is NOT for the diet conscious. It's a guilty pleasure . The desserts are AMAZING. Great service always and the owner is such a sweet man . I drive over 2 hours and it's so worth it ❤❤❤

Salad not that good, soup was excellent orange Roughy good. Hungarian plate not as good as it used to be but ok Dessert was great. Our server was a little distracted and slow

Hungarian food for those who want to try cucumber sour cream salad, sausages, cabbage rolls, and chicken paprikash. For those who don’t, there’s plenty to chose from. Large portions. Full bar. Reasonable prices. Good service. Numerous paintings and Hungarian nicknack touches. Large room for catering events in the back of the restaurant area.

Fantastic food in a traditional Hungarian atmosphere. Everything is made fresh and you can tell it is all made with care!

This place is a hidden gem in the detroit area. Everything on the menu is phenomenal and made with care. Beef Stroganoff is to die for, along with the Chicken Poppykosh.

Always a favorite spot for Hungarian foods. Fresh bread, full plates, chicken paprika is fabulous.

I will only leave reviews when warranted. I attended a baby shower there today and the the food was outstanding. I will definitely be back. The chicken parikash was the best I ever had and the waitstaff was attentive. Thank you!

We drove over an hour to try this Hungarian cuisine. It was amazing. Our server (I think his name was Luke?) was more than accommodating and knowledgeable of the options. The food was so good! Well worth the drive. Thanks for the great experience!

Delicious and authentic Hungarian food at its best. I love the ambience and traditions they uphold. And the staff and owners are top notch.

Our experience was nice but not great. Not enough to cause us to return unfortunately. The food was cold when we got it. The service was slow and the waitress was a bit curt with us. The food was flavorful but nothing to shout at. However my biggest pet peeve is a dirty restroom. When the floor looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years and only with a dirty wet mop; when your shoes stick to the tile, then you know what things are really like behind closed doors. Thank you but no thank you. Clean your building please.
